====== Installer Ubuntu sur une tablette MSI Windpad 110W ======

Installer un bon vieux système basé sur GNU (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, OpenSuse & cie) sur une tablette MSI Windpad 110W est facile une fois qu'on a compris deux subtilités :
  * les périphériques disponibles pour l'amorçage n'apparaissent dans le BIOS que s'ils sont présents. Et encore, dans ce cas, leur priorité est inférieure à celle du disque dur avec Windows
  * Windows a été ghosté n'importe comment et vous allez devoir le supprimer ou commencer par le réinstaller proprement avant d'installer GNU/Linux.

Un bon technicien avec ces deux informations s'en sortira tout seul. Pour les autres, voici le déroulé pas à pas :
  - Branchez un clavier, une souris et votre périphérique de démarrage (lecteur CD-Rom, clef USB) à la tablette via un hub USB
  - Dans le BIOS, réglez l'ordre des périphérique au démarrage
  - À l'installation de votre distribution, choisissez d'utiliser le disque dur entier. La partition Windows d'origine est pourrie, vous ne pourrez pas la redimensionner.
  - Une fois la distro installé, il faut installer le driver proprio (aïe…) pour le support du touch pad. C'est eGalaxTouch en USB
    * http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eGalaxTouchDriver/linuxDriver.htm Récupérez le 2ème driver (pour 32bits, noyeau 2.6.X) 
    * Décompressez, installez via la commande //sudo sh setup.sh// Vous devez choisir l'option 3 (USB)
    * Redémarrez, lancez la commande //eGalaxTouch// et configurez l'écran via l'onglet « Tool » et le bouton « 4pts cal »


====== Install Ubuntu on a MSI Windpad 110W tablet ======

Install a good old GNU-based system (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, OpenSuse and so on) on a MSI Windpad 110W tablet is pretty easy when you understand 2 little things :
  * Bootable devices appears in the BIOS only if they are plugged in. If they are plugged in, their priority is even less than the one of the Windows hard drive
  * Windows has been crappyly copied on the tablet : you will have to remove it completely or reinstall it before installing GNU/Linux.

A good technician, with this information we'll help himself. For other, here is the step by step procedure :
  - Plug a keyboard, a mouse and your bootable device (CD-Rom, USB Key) to the tablet with an USB hub
  - In the BIOS, set up the boot order
  - When installing your distro, choose the whole hard drive. The original Windows partition is a mess, you can't change its size
  - Once the distro installed, you need the proprietary (sight) driver for touchpad support. It's an USB eGalaxTouch
    * http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eGalaxTouchDriver/linuxDriver.htm take the 2nd driver (for 32bits, 2.6.X kernel)
    * Uncompress, install via the command //sudo setup.sh//. You have to choose the third option (USB)
    * Reboot, run the command //eGalaxTouch// and configure screen via the "Tool" tab and the "4pts Cal" button
